Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 21, 2026
1. Introduction
SEO-GEO is operated by Digital Forge LLC, a company registered in New Mexico, United States ("we," "us," or "our"). We operate the getseogeo.com website and the SEO-GEO platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Digital Forge LLC is the data controller responsible for your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and organization name through our authentication provider (Clerk). We do not store passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Clerk.
Usage Data
We track usage events (projects created, crawls started, reports generated) to understand how you use the platform and improve our service. This data is associated with your organization ID, not your personal identity.
Third-Party Credentials
If you connect third-party services (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, DataForSEO), we store encrypted OAuth tokens and API credentials. These are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM and scoped to your organization.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the SEO-GEO platform
- To process your crawl, GEO monitoring, and report requests
- To send transactional emails (account verification, billing receipts, alert notifications)
- To improve our service based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security and application-layer tenant isolation. Crawled web content is stored in Cloudflare R2. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and sensitive credentials are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM).
We implement comprehensive security measures including rate limiting, input validation on all API endpoints, structured logging with secret redaction, and security headers (CSP, HSTS, X-Frame-Options).
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Clerk — Authentication and user management
- Stripe — Payment processing (we never see your full card number)
- Supabase — Database hosting
- Cloudflare R2 — File storage
- Resend — Transactional email delivery
- Sentry — Error monitoring (captures technical errors, not personal data)
- DataForSEO — SERP and keyword data
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Crawl data and reports are retained for 12 months after generation. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent for data processing
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Restrict the processing of your data
For EEA/UK/Swiss Users (GDPR)
Under GDPR, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. Our legal basis for processing your data is: (a) performance of our contract with you (providing the Service), (b) legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), and (c) your consent (where applicable, such as for optional analytics).
International Data Transfers
As Digital Forge LLC is based in the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the US. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers, including standard contractual clauses where required by applicable law.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@getseogeo.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
